# Commercial General Liability

Commercial General Liability (CGL) provides protection against third-party claims such as bodily injury, property damage, and legal defense costs not involving a vehicle. It is one of the most commonly required policies when working with brokers, shippers, or entering into contracts.

### What It Covers

> 🛡️ CGL does *not* cover vehicle-related incidents, cargo damage, or physical damage to company property.
